Teacher stabbed inside Vadakara police station compound

A teacher accused of involvement in an MDMA drug case was stabbed inside the Vadakara police station compound in Kozhikode on Saturday morning. The victim, identified as Keerthana, had arrived at the station to fulfill bail conditions when the attack occurred around 10 am.

The alleged attacker, believed to be the victim's husband, was taken into custody by police. Keerthana sustained approximately five stab wounds, including injuries to her neck, and was transferred from Vadakara Government Hospital to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital for treatment.

Keerthana, a specialist contract teacher at the Block Resource Centre in Perambra, had previously been removed from her teaching position following her arrest in connection with the MDMA case, where she was accused of acting as a link in drug transactions.
