Teachers from Niğde and Kırşehir meet to explore cultural heritage

A total of 80 teachers from the Niğde and Kırşehir provinces participated in the Teacher Academies Meeting held in Niğde. The initiative, organized through the cooperation of the Niğde and Kırşehir Provincial Directorates of National Education, aimed to promote cultural heritage, strengthen collaboration among educators, and preserve the shared values of the Turkic world.

During the program, educators visited several historical sites, including Altay Village, the Kemerhisar Tyana Ancient City, and Gümüşler. Participants engaged in traditional activities such as horseback riding and archery in Altay Village to experience deep-rooted cultural traditions.

Niğde Provincial Director of National Education Elif Özbek emphasized that the program supports both the professional and personal development of teachers. She noted that the project provides a significant opportunity for educators to interact with one another while gaining a closer understanding of their local history and culture.
