Teachers Service Commission seeks new CEO with Sh698,600 monthly salary
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Secretary and Chief Executive Officer. The role, which involves overseeing the implementation of commission policies and managing the TSC secretariat, offers a five-year contract with the possibility of a single five-year renewal.
The position carries a gross monthly salary of Sh698,600. Additional benefits include a Sh15,000 monthly airtime allowance, a Sh50,000 annual leave allowance, and an official vehicle with an engine capacity of up to 3,000cc. Some reports also indicate a Sh30 million mortgage facility and medical cover for the officer, a spouse, and up to four dependent children.
Qualified applicants must be Kenyan citizens with a university degree in education from a recognized institution. Candidates are required to have at least 10 years of experience in relevant fields such as education, administration, human resource management, or finance, and must meet the leadership and integrity requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
