Teagan Moore named Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year

Teagan Moore, a redshirt junior guard for Western Kentucky University, has been named the Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year by Chris Dortch’s Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook. Moore was also selected for the publication’s preseason All-CUSA Team.

The honor follows a highly productive 2025-26 season in which Moore averaged 18.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. His scoring average was the highest for a Hilltopper since the 2007-08 season. During the previous campaign, he shot 52.9% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range.

In the preseason forecast, the Hilltoppers were projected to finish second in Conference USA for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
