Team Biesse Carrera Zambelli excels at Watersley Ladies Challenge

Italian junior women's cycling team Team Biesse Carrera Zambelli posted strong results at the Watersley Ladies Challenge in the Netherlands. In the third and final stage, rider Maria Acuti finished ninth overall, adding to earlier bronze in the time trial and silver in the previous stage, securing third place in the team classification behind the Dutch squad.

Other team members also performed well: Nina Marinini won the Osasco road race in Italy, marking her eighth victory of the season, while Viola Zambelli placed sixth in that event and Megan Pugliese finished tenth. In the same Dutch competition, Alessia Orsi placed 18th in the second stage and was third among Italian riders, supporting the team's overall effort.

The weekend highlighted the depth of the Italian junior program, with multiple athletes scoring top‑ten finishes across both international and domestic races.
