Team Brady wins inaugural E1 Luanda GP
Team Brady secured a historic victory at the inaugural E1 Luanda GP, extending their lead in the 2026 UIM E1 World Championship. In the final stages of the race, Emma Kimiläinen held off a late charge from Team Monaco to win by 1.4 seconds.
The event saw significant competition during the qualifying and group stages. Aoki Racing earned pole position, which helped reduce Team Brady’s championship advantage to eight points. Other notable performances included Team Drogba Global Africa, which secured second in qualifying, and Westbrook Racing by Visit Angola, which took third.
Technical issues and penalties impacted several teams. Will Smith’s team missed the finals after a technical problem, while Mashael Alobaidan of Team AlUla received a long lap penalty during the first final. Aoki Racing and Team Blue Rising also faced penalties after colliding during the second final.
