Team LionStrike advances in UK Light Mobility Vehicle competition

Team LionStrike, a consortium comprising NP Aerospace, GM Defense, and BAE Systems, has been selected to advance to the next stage of the UK Ministry of Defence’s Light Mobility Vehicle (LMV) competition.

The program aims to provide the British Army with modern, adaptable vehicle capabilities to replace the existing Land Rover and Pinzgauer vehicle families. Team LionStrike’s proposal utilizes operationally proven platforms, including the ISV, Silverado LD, and Silverado HD, configured to meet specific UK requirements while minimizing integration risks.

The consortium's approach emphasizes increasing UK industrial participation, supporting sovereign capability, and creating skilled jobs across the UK supply chain. The team will continue working with the Ministry of Defence through the subsequent phase of the competition.
