Team Manitoba wins Inter-Provincial golf championship

Team Manitoba secured their first Inter-Provincial Team Championship since 2005 at the 2026 Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship. Held at the Brantford Golf & Country Club in Ontario, the team—comprised of Evan Nachtigall, Jordy Lutz, and David Spurr—won the title by four strokes with a combined score of 15-under par.

In the individual competition, Evan Nachtigall has emerged as the frontrunner. After tying for the initial lead with a course-record 8-under 64 in the opening round, Nachtigall moved into solo possession of the lead heading into the final round. He sits at 17-under par, holding a two-shot advantage over competitors including three-time champion Garrett Rank.
