Riot Games launches Teamfight Tactics Set 18 ‘Enchanted Wilds’

Riot Games has launched ‘Enchanted Wilds’, the 18th set for its strategy game Teamfight Tactics (TFT). This update marks a major technical milestone as the first set to utilize Unreal Engine, which will initially be applied to select content on PC before rolling out to mobile devices.

The new set introduces a mystical forest theme featuring new champions and traits such as ‘Riftbeast’ and ‘Sprykin’. A key gameplay mechanic is the introduction of ‘Wisps’, magical entities that appear in the shop to provide players with temporary combat bonuses, gold, experience, or other strategic advantages that grow in power as matches progress.

In conjunction with the release, a national amateur tournament hosted by LEVELUP. GG is scheduled, featuring a prize pool of 10 million won. The competition will culminate in finals on September 5, offering top players a chance to participate in the professional ‘Tactician’s Trial’ tournament.
