TeamJacques to stage extra performance of Nijvel Gang musical in Bruges

The Bruges-based theater group TeamJacques has announced an additional performance of ‘De Bende van Nijvel, de musical’ on Saturday, October 17, at Het Entrepot. This extra show follows positive reception since the premiere on October 8.

The musical explores one of the darkest chapters in Belgian history: the unsolved robberies and murders committed by the ‘Bende van Nijvel’ during the 1980s. The production follows Clara, a young journalist attempting to navigate the theories and memories surrounding the case. The company emphasizes that the performance is a work of fiction rather than a factual reconstruction, using invented characters and dialogue to provide historical context.

Due to the nature of the recording session taking place during this performance, a limited number of seats will be made available to the public.
