TeamViewer launches Tia Troubleshooting AI for IT support
TeamViewer has announced the launch of Tia Troubleshooting, an expansion of its Intelligent Agent designed to automate IT support processes. The new functionality allows the AI agent to move beyond simple suggestions to active intervention during remote assistance sessions.
Tia is capable of analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes, proposing solutions, and executing those solutions once approved by an IT professional. After implementation, the system verifies whether the problem has been resolved. This process aims to reduce manual routine work, shorten resolution times, and increase first-contact success rates.
The system is designed with controlled autonomy, meaning IT staff maintain oversight. Administrators can define the level of authority granted to the agent, allowing it to act as a mere assistant or to perform tasks independently following human approval. Despite this technological advancement, TeamViewer shares saw a decline of 2.87%, closing at 6.43 euros.
