Tešanj hosts 20th International Trade Fair with 800+ exhibitors

The 20th International Trade Fair in Tešanj has officially opened, featuring more than 800 exhibitors across approximately 23,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space. The event serves as a significant platform for regional business networking, industry trends, and new technological discoveries.

Nermin Nikšić, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended the ceremony, emphasizing that the Tešanj region is a vital economic driver with companies successfully competing in global markets. Nikšić highlighted the importance of stability for investors, specifically noting that energy security and infrastructure, such as the South Interconnection, are critical themes for long-term economic planning.

The United States is a partner for this year's fair, underscoring the importance of international cooperation. Local officials noted that Tešanj has seen significant fiscal growth, with the municipality recording over 3.1 billion BAM in fiscal turnover in 2025, representing a substantial portion of the Zenica-Doboj Canton's economy.
