Tears For Fears announces deluxe reissue of ‘The Seeds Of Love’

Tears For Fears has announced a deluxe reissue of their 1989 third studio album, ‘The Seeds Of Love’, scheduled for release on October 16 through UMC. The reissue features new Stereo and Atmos mixes created by producer Steven Wilson.

Originally released in September 1989, the album was a major commercial success, reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart and achieving Platinum certification. In the United States, it peaked at number eight on the Billboard Top 200 and also earned Platinum status. The band members Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith noted the enduring relevance of tracks such as ‘Woman in Chains’, ‘Badman’s Song’, ‘Sowing the Seeds of Love’, and ‘Advice for the Young at Heart’.

The reissue will be available in several formats, including a three-CD set with rare mixes and B-sides, a limited edition Blu-ray, and a 2LP edition on special-effect blue marbled vinyl. The vinyl version will include a second disc containing B-sides and demos, some of which are appearing on vinyl for the first time.
