Teatr Akt presents the production ANANKE

Teatr Akt in Warsaw is presenting the theatrical production ‘ANANKE’. The performance is a static drama of expectation inspired by Stanisław Wyspiański’s work ‘Warszawianka’.

Created through a collaboration between Marek Kowalski of Teatr Akt, Anna Ługowska of Teatr Sztuka Ciała, and composer Robert Jędrzejewski, the play explores themes of freedom, love, and historical memory. It utilizes a visual and musical approach, incorporating stained glass and specific musical tones to depict a drama of fate on both individual and national levels. The production serves as a transition from the past to the present, referencing the November Uprising.
