Teatr Cinema announces new production in Jelenia Góra

Teatr Cinema has announced the premiere of its new production, ‘Zostanie po mnie pusty pokój’ (An Empty Room Will Remain After Me), scheduled for October 3 and 4, 2026, at the Centrum Kultury Zameczek in Jelenia Góra.

Based on the works ‘Kartoteka’ and ‘Kartoteka rozrzucona’ by Tadeusz Różewicz, the play is described as a sad comedy that incorporates contemporary elements such as parliamentary debates and news reports to address themes of rumors and fake news. Directed by Zbigniew Szumski, the production will also tour other locations including Kowary, Kromnów, and Michałowice throughout October.

Following the Jelenia Góra performances, the tour includes shows at the Miejski Ośrodek Kultury in Kowary on October 7 and 8, the Artystyczna Galeria Izerska in Kromnów on October 21, and a performance at Teatr Cinema in Michałowice on October 29.
