Teatro Alberto Maranhão hosts cultural performances in Natal

The Teatro Alberto Maranhão in Natal is hosting two significant cultural productions.

On October 13, the performance ‘O Retorno de Maria Boa’ will be presented by Pole Estúdio. The show uses pole dance, burlesque, and dance to reconstruct the life of Maria Boa, a historical figure from Natal who gained prominence during the 1940s amidst the presence of American soldiers during World War II. The production aims to explore themes of female autonomy and freedom.

Additionally, singer and composer Simona Talma has released the live album ‘Forte Como Fogo’, also recorded at the Teatro Alberto Maranhão. The project celebrates her 25-year career and serves as a testament to her resilience following a breast cancer diagnosis in 2022. The 16-track album features various stages of her musical journey and includes collaborations with local artists.
