Teatro Astra hosts Alessandra Mura’s “Binario60”

The new production “Binario60,” directed, choreographed, and written by Alessandra Mura, will be performed on Sunday, October 18, at the Teatro Astra in Sassari. The performance serves as the closing event for the fifth edition of the PLAYS! festival, which focuses on contemporary performing arts.

The show features twelve women, twelve stories, and twelve bodies exploring the passage of time and the transformations of female existence. Through a blend of theater, dance, and spoken word, the performance examines themes such as work, relationships, daily responsibilities, and the struggle with societal models. Using irony as a form of resistance, the piece explores the metaphor of missed trains—both real and metaphorical—as opportunities for women to change direction and reclaim agency in their lives.
