Teatro Carlo Goldoni reopens after major renovation in Corinaldo

The Teatro Carlo Goldoni in Corinaldo has officially reopened following a major technological and energy efficiency renovation project. The revitalization effort, which cost a total of 590,000 euros, was funded by a 400,000-euro grant from the Marche Region and the remaining balance by the Municipality of Corinaldo.

Executed by the cooperative EDRA Costruzioni, the works focused on modernizing the historic 19th-century venue. Key upgrades include the installation of high-performance double-glazed windows, a hybrid heating and cooling system using a methane boiler and heat pump, and a complete conversion to LED lighting for both the stage and the auditorium. Additionally, the theater received a new state-of-the-art audio system, motorized stage rigging, and improved reception and accessibility spaces.

The reopening ceremony featured a performance by Maestro Marco Santini and was attended by local and regional authorities. Mayor Gianni Aloisi emphasized that the theater serves as a vital pillar of community identity and memory for Corinaldo.
