Teatro de la Comedia hosts El caballero de Olmedo
The production of ‘El caballero de Olmedo’ by the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico (CNTC) is currently performing at the Teatro de la Comedia in Madrid. Directed by Laila Ripoll, the play is a dramatic work by Félix Lope de Vega that blends tragic elements with subtle comedy.
In addition to the theatrical performances, the Teatro de la Comedia is participating in the ‘Madrid otra mirada’ program. This initiative includes free guided tours of the historic venue on October 14 and 15. The theater, which was inaugurated in 1875, was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (BIC) in 2025.
