Teatro de LiNUTILE launches fundraising series for youth award

The Teatro de LiNUTILE in Padova has announced the “Aspettando La mia Opera Prima” series, running from November 7, 2026, to January 30, 2027. The program consists of four performances and two workshops focused on mockumentary and scenic design.

Proceeds from the series will fund the fourteenth edition of the Premio LiNUTILE, an initiative supported by the Padova Municipality's Culture Department. The award provides visibility for the Off theater circuit and features two national calls for entries open until December 15, 2026. One category is dedicated to performances by collectives with members aged 18 to 25, while the other targets unpublished theatrical texts by authors in the same age bracket.

The selection and organization are managed by the Compagnia Giovani de LiNUTILE. Selected performances are scheduled for February and March 2027, where the audience will vote for a winner. The winning text from the authors' section will be staged on March 21, 2027.
