Teatro del Loto hosts immersive migration play for Loto Link Fest 2026

Teatro del Loto in Ferrazzano will host the production “The Game” as part of the Loto Link Fest 2026. Scheduled for October 3 and 4, the performance is written and directed by Gianluca Iumiento and produced by Teatro Nuovo Pisa and Binario Vivo with support from Creative Europe.

The play addresses the migration crisis and the challenges faced by those traveling the Balkan route from Istanbul to Trieste. It utilizes an immersive format where actors act as avatars in a human-led game show, involving the audience through quizzes and participatory decision-making to confront contemporary migration issues.
