Teatro Experimental do Porto and Companhia Brasileira de Teatro present Festa

The theatrical production “Festa,” a collective creation directed and written by Marcio Abreu, is touring Portugal. The performance brings together the Teatro Experimental do Porto (TEP) and the Companhia Brasileira de Teatro to explore the concept of the party as a space for community building, political expression, and the affirmation of equality and diversity.

The production explores the tensions inherent in social gatherings, viewing the party as a site of both celebration and dispute between progressive values and conservative market structures. The play features a cast including Grace Passô, Gonçalo Amorim, João Miguel Mota, and Yuck Miranda.

Following its premiere at Teatro Carlos Alberto in Porto from October 28 to 31, the production will move to Lisbon. It will be staged at the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II from November 6 to 14, featuring a post-show discussion and an accessible session.
