Teatro India hosts science fiction multidisciplinary project

The multidisciplinary project ‘IF/INVASIONI (dal) FUTURO_LEGACY*2026’ by lacasadargilla recently concluded its thirteenth edition at Teatro India in Rome. Held from August 31 to September 6, the event utilized the industrial archaeology setting of the former Mira Lanza plant to explore science fiction themes through anthropological and scientific lenses.

The program featured multimedia sci-fi shows, non-frontal performances, workshops, immersive site-specific installations, and a conference bridging literature and philosophy. Key activities included ‘Dune Parte I’, ‘Dune Parte II’, and ‘Messia di Dune’. Additionally, the visual and sonic installation ‘THE GOLDEN PATH’ by Alessandro Ferroni and Maddalena Parise served as the first installment of a five-year saga.
