Teatro Maria Matos extends runs for ‘Pura Loucura’ and ‘Cock’
Due to high public demand and sold-out shows, the Teatro Maria Matos in Lisbon has extended the runs for two theatrical productions: ‘Pura Loucura’ and ‘Cock’.
‘Pura Loucura’, a comedy-style detective play written by German playwright Paul Portner, was originally scheduled to run until November 25. It will now remain on stage until November 29, with performances on Sundays at 18:00, and Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 21:00. The production is directed by Michel Simeão and features a cast including Diana Nicolau and Flávio Gil.
‘Cock’, a dramatic comedy by British playwright Mike Bartlett, was previously set to conclude on November 24. The production has been extended until December 22, with performances held on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:00. Directed by Ricardo Neves-Neves, the play explores themes of love, desire, and identity.
