Teatro Municipal da Covilhã announces October cultural program

The Teatro Municipal da Covilhã (TMC~) has announced a diverse cultural program for October, featuring various artistic disciplines. A major highlight is the performance by the Porto-based rock band Pluto on October 3, which marks their debut in Covilhã. The band, featuring members Manel Cruz and Peixe from Ornatos Violeta, will perform repertoire from their classic album ‘Bom Dia’ alongside new material.

Other scheduled events include the play ‘Desengano’ on October 1, the Kayzer Ballet premiere on October 8, and the Teatro do Silêncio on October 10. The month also features the 17th edition of the contraDANÇA festival from October 22 to 24, the ‘Caudal Sólido’ exhibition by the Guarda Rios collective, and the 20th Síntese Festival.

To support the academic community, TMC~ is offering special incentives for students. All students receive a 50 percent discount on tickets, while new students from the Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI) can access performances for free upon presenting valid identification.
