Teatro Olympia celebrates 111 years with new season

Teatro Olympia in Valencia is celebrating its 111th anniversary with the launch of its 2026/27 season. Under the theme ‘111 years of first times,’ the season aims to highlight the legacy and collective memory of the venue, focusing on the stories of spectators, artists, and professionals who have shaped its history.

The anniversary serves as a starting point for the broader Olympia Metropolitana network, which includes Teatre Talia, Auditori de Torrent, Palau Altea, Cinestudio d’Or, and Escuela Olympia. The organization recently concluded a successful period, managing approximately 400,000 spectators across its various spaces. Last season featured 275 scheduled shows, complemented by film programming at Cinestudio d’Or and training for nearly 400 students at Escuela Olympia in disciplines such as musical theatre, acting, and singing.
