Teatro Petra presents ‘Labio de Liebre’ at FICC 2026 in Tunja

Teatro Petra is presenting the play ‘Labio de Liebre’ at the Teatro Mayor Bicentenario in Tunja, marking a major highlight of the 2026 International Peasant Culture Festival (FICC).

Written and directed by Fabio Rubiano, the production celebrates 10 years of performances across Colombia and international stages in America and Europe. The play, a co-production between the CNA and Teatro Petra, explores themes of conflict and violence. The narrative follows Salvo Castello, a man convicted of heinous crimes serving house arrest in a remote, cold territory, as he is visited by the Sosa family and Roxi Romero.

The performance features a cast including Marcela Valencia, Liliana Escobar, Juanita Cetina, Jacques Toukhmanian, Biassini Segura, Derly Neira, and Fabio Rubiano. Founded in 1985 by Rubiano and Valencia, Teatro Petra is a prominent Colombian contemporary theater company known for original dramaturgy.
