Teatro Principal de Puerto Real announces autumn 2026 programming

The Teatro Principal in Puerto Real has announced its cultural programming for the autumn 2026 season, spanning from September to December. The schedule features 15 diverse performances including theater, dance, jazz, copla, and children's shows.

The season begins on September 11 with a concert by the local artist Pitu, followed by family entertainment from Circo Papanati on September 18. Key theatrical highlights include ‘Invisible y todas las demás’ by Alas Circo on September 25, ‘Memorias de trapo’ by La Mona Danza on October 1, and ‘La Reina Brava’ by Las Niñas de Cádiz on October 9.

Musical offerings include a jazz performance by the Four Women Quartet on November 6 and the traditional Santa Cecilia concert by the Banda Pedro Álvarez Hidalgo on November 20. The season concludes in December with a monologue by Rafael Álvarez ‘El Brujo’ and the ‘Zambomband’ event.

Nazaret Ramírez, the Councilor for Culture, noted that the municipality has invested in maintaining the venue, which is the second oldest functioning theater in Andalusia. Recent improvements include a 90,000 euro investment in lighting, as well as upgrades to the screen, projector, and air conditioning systems.
