Teatro Raul Cortez announces October 2026 cultural programming

The Teatro Municipal Raul Cortez in Duque de Caxias has announced its performance schedule for October 2026. Key highlights include the musical tribute ‘Whitney Forever’ by singer Thalita Pertuzatti on October 9, which covers Houston’s career from gospel to her most famous hits.

The October lineup also features children's productions, including ‘Beauty and the Beast’ on October 10 and ‘Mickey – The Great Treasure Hunt’ on October 11. Other scheduled events include the Gala da Dança on October 7, a performance by the Orquestra Filarmônica Metropolitana on October 17, and the ‘ASAS’ event on October 18.

Additionally, the Festival Rock Brasil will hold free outdoor shows at Praça do Pacificador on October 29, 30, and 31, featuring the band Destroya. Due to the theater serving as an electoral zone during the election period, the number of attractions for the month has been reduced.
