Teatro Regio di Parma announces Verdi Off and 2027 seasons

Teatro Regio di Parma has announced upcoming cultural programming, including the eleventh edition of the ‘Verdi Off’ project and the 2027 concert and dance seasons.

Running from September 19 to October 25, ‘Verdi Off’ brings the music of Giuseppe Verdi into public spaces, including squares, neighborhoods, and care or detention facilities. The program features the ‘Verdi Street Parade’, the ‘Verdi Circus’ at Piazzale Picelli, and the ‘Verdi Spip Parade’ in the city’s industrial district. The initiative emphasizes social inclusion through music, theater, dance, and circus performances.

The 2027 concert season, titled ‘Radici’, will be inaugurated by the Berliner Philharmoniker String Quintet. Featured artists include Jordi Savall with Hespèrion XXI, pianist Eva Gevorgyan, and Louis Lortie. The dance season, ‘Parma Danza 2027’, will run from March to December, featuring performances by Aterballetto, São Paulo Companhia de Dança, and Balletto di Roma.
