Teatro Romano di Benevento hosts major cultural performances

The Roman Theatre of Benevento recently hosted two major cultural performances as part of heritage celebrations.

The seventh edition of the ‘Eternità’ festival, titled ‘Dove il vento incontra la terra’, featured a narrative concert based on Grazia Deledda’s ‘Canne al Vento’. The production included musical performances by Elisa Zedda, Antonio Luciano, and Andrea Congia, alongside choreography by the Piccolo Teatro Libertà. The event also included a musical tribute to Pino Daniele, involving 60 young performers.

Additionally, the sixth edition of ‘Lirica al Teatro Romano’ presented Giuseppe Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’. Directed by Veaceslav Quadrini Ceaicovschi and featuring the Orchestra Internazionale della Campania, the production included vocal performances by the G. Verdi choirs of Rome and the Opera Festival Bitonto. The performance starred Yao Bohui as Violetta and Vincenzo Maria Sarinelli as Alfredo Germont.
