Teatro San Martín presents ‘La lluvia de fuego’

The play ‘La lluvia de fuego’ is currently being performed at Sala Casacubert within the Teatro San Martín. Based on an unpublished text by Silvina Ocampo and Juan José Hernández, the production was directed by Marilú Marini, who received the manuscript from Adolfo Bioy Casares.

The play follows the character Adelaida, a woman living in a large house with her maid, Predefinda. The narrative shifts from traditional realism into a surrealist and fantastic atmosphere following the arrival of a young man named Marcelo. The production utilizes elements of melodrama, black humor, and crime to explore a psychological landscape where fantasy alters everyday reality.
