Teatro Teresa Carreño named Venezuela Cultural Heritage Ambassador

The Teatro Teresa Carreño (TTC) has been officially designated as an Ambassador of Cultural Heritage and a National Monument of Venezuela. This distinction was granted by the Instituto Marca País and the Ministry of Culture, recognizing the complex as a masterpiece of modern architecture and a central hub for performing and musical arts.

During the ceremony, held during the 'Gala de Ballet: Academicismo y Modernidad' dance cycle honoring Adriana Estrada, Gustavo Arreaza, president of the TTC Foundation, received the commemorative plaque. Officials, including Vice Minister of Audiovisual Culture Miqueas Figueroa and President of Marca País Andreína Tarazón Bolívar, emphasized that the recognition reinforces the theater's role in projecting Venezuela's cultural reputation and artistic talent to a global audience.
