Teatro TotalEnergies to host free dramatic reading in Rio de Janeiro

Teatro TotalEnergies will host a free dramatic reading event titled ‘5x Teatro’ on August 31, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro. The program features five distinct texts written by Sérgio Farias and directed by Flávia Portela.

The performance includes works such as ‘Quando Ela Deixou de Esperar’, inspired by Charles Manson; ‘Cativeiro’, based on the 44-month detention of Mary Ann Harbert in China; and ‘A Filha do Amigo’, which addresses human trafficking in Northern Brazil. Other pieces include ‘O Encontro’, inspired by the 1965 meeting between Elvis Presley and John Lennon, and the monologue ‘Padre McKenzie’.

The 90-minute event will take place at the Teatro TotalEnergies - Sala Adolpho Bloch, located in the historic Edifício Manchete. The cast includes Fernando Reski, Isabella Dionísio, Kaio Caiazzo, Dezza Olliver, Igo Ribeiro, and Sérgio Nostra.
