TeatroCinema and Milo Rau announced for upcoming Chilean theater productions

The Chilean company TeatroCinema is set to premiere “Cazadores de agua” at the Teatro Municipal de Las Condes on November 18. This production, directed by Zagal and written by Laura Pizarro, Montserrat Antileo, and Zagal, follows a science fiction narrative about a girl and her grandfather surviving in a desert by collecting fog water. The story explores themes of memory and the connection between the past and a future where water is a precious resource.

Additionally, Swiss director and playwright Milo Rau will participate in the upcoming Teatro a Mil International Festival. Rau, known for integrating journalism and documentary elements into his work to address political issues such as war and inequality, will present his project “La vidente” at the Matucana 100 Cultural Center on January 9 and 10, 2027. His work often explores ethical dilemmas through historical and contemporary conflicts.
