TEC bus drivers strike over heat and wages

Bus drivers for the TEC company in the Mons and Eugies depots held a strike on August 14 to protest the lack of air conditioning in vehicles, where internal temperatures reportedly exceeded 40°C.

Following these protests, trade unions have called for a 48-hour strike on August 26 and 27. The workers are demanding 100 euro eco-cheques to combat the rising cost of living and wage stagnation.
