Tecali de Herrera: Body found with extortion message and stolen vehicle burned
In Tecali de Herrera, Puebla, authorities discovered a body wrapped in plastic bags in a field near the Barrio de Zocuila. The deceased, whose gender has not been confirmed, was found with a sign allegedly containing a message related to extortion or 'cobro de piso'. Local police and the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) responded to the scene to conduct investigations.
In a separate incident in the same municipality, a stolen 2025 Mitsubishi L200 was found completely burned on a dirt road in the Malinalco area. While the vehicle was heavily damaged by fire, authorities confirmed that no human remains were found inside. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the vehicle being abandoned and set on fire.
