Tech firms partner to accelerate enterprise AI and Sovereign AI adoption

Major technology and consulting firms are forming strategic partnerships to accelerate enterprise AI transformation (AX) and the adoption of Sovereign AI.

In South Korea, EY Hanyoung and Upstage have signed a memorandum of understanding to support domestic companies in implementing Sovereign AI. This initiative aims to combine Upstage’s proprietary AI model technology, such as the ‘Solar’ LLM, with EY Hanyoung’s industrial consulting expertise. The collaboration focuses on addressing critical enterprise needs including data security, regulatory compliance, and internal controls while helping businesses build AI operating systems tailored to specific regional and corporate data environments.

Simultaneously, SK AX has entered into a strategic partnership with the global software leader SAP to target the business AI market. Following an MOU signed at SAP’s headquarters in Germany, the two companies plan to integrate SAP’s technical capabilities with SK AX’s industry-specific AX design and operational expertise. The partnership will utilize tools such as the ‘SAP Autonomous Suite’ and ‘SAP Business AI’ to drive innovation across sectors including finance, manufacturing, and energy, aiming to create autonomous enterprise environments.
