Tech innovations emerge in Angola and the United States

In Angola, the LISPA Jumpstart 2026 acceleration program has announced its latest winners. Yetu Contabilidade secured first place in the 3rd edition with a digital platform designed to facilitate accounting education through interactive tools like video lessons and mental maps. In the 4th edition, GAP – Garimpo Antes da Prova won with an EdTech solution developed by computer engineering students that uses technology to personalize learning and adapt content to individual student needs.

Both winning teams received one million kwanzas each to support the development and expansion of their respective solutions.

Meanwhile, in the United States, the company Tau Robotics has begun testing a humanoid robot designed for domestic cleaning services. Currently being trialed by a selected group of residents in San Francisco, the robot performs tasks such as vacuuming floors and cleaning kitchen counters. While the robot operates with significant autonomy, it is currently supported by remote human operators and artificial intelligence. CEO Alex Koch stated that the goal is to expand market access to cleaning services rather than replacing traditional human workers.
