Tech leaders expand agentic AI through new hardware and security architectures
Major technology firms are expanding their capabilities in agentic AI, focusing on both hardware infrastructure and software security.
Dell Technologies has announced a partnership with Accenture to establish a joint business unit aimed at scaling AI solutions for enterprise clients. To support these workflows, Dell is expanding its hardware portfolio with new PCs and workstations specifically designed for agentic AI, including models featuring NVIDIA TX Spark and systems for Windows with GB300.
In a separate collaboration, Microsoft and NVIDIA have announced a partnership to develop new architectures for AI agents. The initiative introduces Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC), a technology designed to provide strict security boundaries for autonomous software assistants. MXC aims to ensure isolation, monitoring, identity management, and governance. The system utilizes a policy-based execution layer to control dynamically generated code, offering various isolation levels ranging from process containers to experimental MicroVM environments. NVIDIA will integrate its OpenShell software to provide policy controls for file, network, and inference access.
