Tech leaders warn AI limits: Nadella critiques Anthropic, Gates on job security

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella publicly criticised Anthropic’s AI model Fable, saying its "editorial control" is unsuitable for enterprise applications. He argued that companies should train their own language models on internal data to retain full control, highlighting the tension between safety guardrails and corporate data sovereignty.

Bill Gates warned that only three professions – programmers, energy experts and biologists – are likely to remain untouched by AI automation. He noted that routine, data‑driven tasks will be increasingly handled by AI, leaving work that requires empathy, physical effort, ethical judgement and strategic decision‑making to humans.
