Tech sector sees major stock movements from Prosus, Adobe, and Apple

Several major technology companies and their stakeholders have engaged in significant stock transactions. Prosus, the international internet assets division of Naspers, announced plans to sell $14.6 billion worth of its stake in Tencent. Despite the sale, Prosus will remain Tencent's largest shareholder with a 28.9% stake and has committed to not selling further shares for at least three years. This news contributed to a nearly 10% drop in Tencent's American ADR.

At Apple Inc., various institutional investors have adjusted their positions. Rockbridge Asset Management LLC acquired 33,578 shares valued at approximately $9.7 million, making Apple its 8th largest holding. Meanwhile, Apple Senior Vice President Jennifer Newstead sold 1,438 shares, valued at approximately $474,813, to cover tax withholding obligations related to vested equity awards.

Adobe Inc. CEO Shantanu Narayen also executed significant stock sales, selling 74,500 shares at an average price of $251.56, totaling approximately $18.7 million. This transaction represented a 20.48% decrease in his direct position.
