Tech updates: Apple Face ID fixes, Spotify storage limits, and RugOne smartphone launch

Several notable updates and issues are affecting mobile users across different platforms. Apple has confirmed it is working on a software patch for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to address a bug where Face ID failures cause the device to freeze or restart. This issue primarily occurs within biometric-secured applications like password managers and Safari private cards.

Spotify is introducing a new feature for Android users to manage storage more effectively. A new cache limit setting will allow users to set a specific amount of space for the app's cache, helping to prevent the application from consuming excessive storage on devices with limited capacity.

Additionally, the RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro, a rugged smartphone featuring a magnetically attached 39-gram action camera, is set for an official market debut in October 2026. The device, which can record in 2.7K resolution, will be available in Black and Sand Dune colors with a price set at 4199 PLN.
