Techkon releases ChromaQA 7.5 color management suite

Techkon has announced the release of ChromaQA 7.5, an updated color management suite designed for printers and brands. The new version introduces 18 features and enhancements across its Spec, Press, Standards, Admin, and SmartINK modules.

Key updates include the ability to specify measurement locations within artwork by uploading PDF or JPG images, providing visual confirmation for press operators. Users can also import color standards directly from ICC profiles, supporting both v2 and v4, as well as CMYK and multi-channel profiles.

The update expands support for PantoneLIVE, Colibri colorant sets, SmartINK corrections, and SpectroCheck calibration reporting. Additionally, the suite now allows for the creation of customized drawdown reports that can be shared with customers as PDFs.
