Technical Chamber of Greece proposes resilient renovation for Gravas school complex

Giorgos Stasinos, President of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), has announced a flagship initiative to renovate the school complex in Gravas. The project aims to provide seismic and bioclimatic protection, serving as a model for future infrastructure.

Speaking at the GreenDealGreece 2026 conference, Stasinos called for an “Alliance of Responsibility and Acceleration for Resilience,” urging the government, political parties, and municipalities to cooperate on national survival and development strategies. He emphasized that the green transition and resilience are essential for protecting Greek society.

Additional proposals from the TEE include the upcoming consultation of a new policy for green roofs and the “Green by TEE” initiative. Stasinos also advocated for transitional regulations regarding construction outside urban plans, the implementation of environmental incentives within the General Building Code, and the mandatory use of the National Infrastructure Registry to accelerate projects and prevent risks.
