Technical schools in La Plata implement workforce integration programs

Technical schools in La Plata, Argentina, are implementing programs to facilitate student transitions into the workforce. Through the Professionalizing Practices system promoted by the Provincial Council of Education and Work (COPRET), students from institutions such as EEST N° 8 ‘J. B. Alberdi’ and San Vicente de Paúl are gaining hands-on experience in regional companies.

These initiatives include strategic agreements with the National University of La Plata (UNLP) and the La Plata Elevator Chamber (CEALP). For instance, seventh-year electronics and electromechanics students participate in field tasks, such as maintaining lifting equipment alongside experienced technicians or working in specialized laboratories to test and repair equipment.
