Technics launches EAH-A1000 flagship wireless headphones

Technics, a brand under Panasonic, has announced the launch of its new flagship wireless over-ear headphones, the EAH-A1000. The device features a newly developed 40mm Magnetic Fluid Driver, a technology previously utilized in the brand's in-ear models, now optimized for larger drivers to reduce unwanted vibrations and distortion.

Key acoustic features include a carbon-fiber diaphragm with a conical shape, Symmetrical Surround Technology (SST) Edge, a Baffle Flat Structure to minimize internal reflections, and an Acoustic Control Chamber to manage airflow for balanced sound. The headphones also incorporate adaptive noise cancelling powered by eight microphones (three feed-forward and one feedback per side).

Connectivity options include LDAC support, USB Audio for lossless playback, and Bluetooth multipoint connection for up to three devices. The EAH-A1000 also supports Dolby Atmos with head tracking. The headphones offer up to 45 hours of battery life with ANC enabled and are available in Black and Platinum Greige. Pricing is approximately $449 in the US and 60,000 to 66,000 yen in Japan.
