TechnipFMC awarded iEPCI contract for PETRONAS Limbayong project

TechnipFMC has been awarded an integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (iEPCI) contract by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. for the Limbayong deepwater project offshore Malaysia. The contract, valued by TechnipFMC at between $75 million and $250 million, will be included in inbound orders during the third quarter of 2026.

The Limbayong project is a greenfield development located approximately 120 kilometers offshore Sabah, in water depths ranging from 900 to 1,200 meters. The project involves oil and non-associated gas. TechnipFMC will utilize its Subsea 2.0 configure-to-order (CTO) platform to execute the subsea scope, an approach intended to reduce project cycle time and improve project economics for Malaysia’s offshore energy sector.
