Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen expands AI use in administration

Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) is expanding the use of artificial intelligence within its administrative and teaching processes. Following the implementation of regulations regarding AI use in student examinations, the university has launched a new development process to integrate the technology into internal workflows.

To support this transition, the Center for Quality Development hosted a workshop featuring demonstrations of AI tools. Supported by the University of Kassel, these tools include systems for classifying library collections, managing export controls, assisting with doctoral processes, and handling appointment procedures. A chatbot designed for curriculum development was noted as a point of significant interest among staff.
