Technological symposiums and women in tech seminars held in Minas Gerais

The Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) will host the XVII Biomedical Engineering Symposium (SEB) from September 21 to 23, 2026. Marking its 20th anniversary in the Triângulo Mineiro region, the event aims to integrate academia, health services, and the productive sector to discuss scientific advances and technological solutions for healthcare.

In a separate event in Minas Gerais, the SEMMA 2026 seminar, held at the Sociedade Mineira de Engenharia, focused on the role of women in technological fields. Under the theme ‘Women who Transform Territories: Technology, Security and Future’, the seminar brought together professionals, students, and entrepreneurs to discuss leadership, innovation, and smart cities, aiming to strengthen female presence in engineering, agronomy, and geosciences.
